Welcome to the FFY 2015 Grant Information page.
Together, AZDOHS with state, local and tribal jurisdictions, enhance the State’s efforts to prepare, prevent, and respond to terrorist attacks and other disasters by distributing grant funds. Eligible jurisdictions can apply for grants for planning, organization, equipment, training and exercise needs within the scope of state and federal grant guidance.
Each grant opportunity listed below has a specific timeline and guidance associated with it. Please review and refer to all materials associated with the specific grant when applying.
FFY 2015 Urban Area Security Initiative Nonprofit Security Grant Program (UASI NSGP)
The FFY 2015 NSGP Application Closed on Tuesday May 5, 2015 at 5:00 p.m.
The UASI NSGP provides funding support for target hardening and other physical security enhancements and activities to nonprofit organizations that are at high risk of terrorist attack. The program is also designed to promote coordination and collaboration in emergency preparedness activities among public and private community representatives, as well as state and local government agencies. The FY 2015 NSGP plays an important role in the implementation of the National Preparedness System (NPS) by supporting the building, sustainment and delivery of core capabilities essential to achieving the National Preparedness Goal (NPG) of a secure and resilient Nation.
